Dafni joined A.G. Erotocritou LLC’s corporate and commercial team in 2022 and is currently a Counsel in the team.

Dafni’s practice focuses on corporate M&A transactions (including legal due diligence exercises), restructurings, growth capital / bank financing transactions and selected private client matters (primarily relating to trusts). Dafni has acted for various clients on M&A transactions (including running the legal due diligence exercises as well as the preparation, negotiation and finalisation of documentation), bank financing transactions and real estate transactions, as well as advising on shareholders’ agreements and other arrangements between entrepreneurs and the set up of new businesses. In particular, Dafni has acted for clients on the sale of well-known restaurants in Cyprus, as well as on some of the largest bank financing transactions, both within the jurisdiction and across Europe.

Since joining the firm, Dafni has authored a number of publications, mainly in the areas of corporate governance, private wealth and regulatory.

Prior to joining the firm, Dafni worked as a corporate lawyer at Stephenson Harwood LLP in London, specialising in private equity transactions, acting both for institutional investors and management teams, including advising on shareholders’ agreements and related arrangements. Dafni has extensive experience in all aspects of M&A transactions and private equity deals, including MBOs, bolt-on acquisitions, investments and divestitures, as well as public IPOs and secondary listings on the AIM market. Before qualifying as a solicitor, Dafni worked as a property paralegal and spent some time as a trainee in the corporate restructuring and insolvency department of another City law firm.

Dafni was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2023 and has been a qualified solicitor in England and Wales since 2017, following the successful completion of her LLB and Legal Practice Course. Previously, she had completed undergraduate studies in Mathematics.

Dafni has been recommended by Legal 500 as a leading lawyer in Cyprus for Commercial, corporate and M&A.
