Our Partner Antreas Koualis will be speaking at the Game Industry Conference (GIC) in Poznań, Poland this week, joining the panel "Cross-industry disputes: when GameDev meets other industries" at the Legal Summit by dotlaw and Thedy & Partners.
Antreas will draw on our work in the Race Master 3D dispute, a matter we are currently handling. The game is one of the leading titles in mobile racing, with more than 100 million downloads. The case shows how ownership questions in gaming now reach well beyond traditional intellectual property, into assets such as bundle IDs, user databases and the advertising algorithms behind app store visibility.
He will be joined on the panel by Agnieszka Nowakowska (dotlaw) and Ben Travers (Foot Anstey), with Michał Czubak (JWP Patent & Trademark Attorneys) moderating.
